Berklee Valencia will be shaped by the city its students and faculty will call home – Valencia, Spain. Valencia has grown into a vibrant cultural hub of both Spain and Europe, and at the center of its culture is music. Valencia sits at the nexus of rich musical traditions from Europe, North Africa and the Middle East, and it has developed a musical tradition all its own. Valencia and its neighboring communities are home to more than 500 symphonic and concert bands. And this “Band Capital of the World” will do more than just host ARTeria Valencia. It will inspire an entirely new portion of the curriculum, and supply the cultural soundtrack to the entire Berklee Valencia experience.
